Review on MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Accomplice Concealer & Touch-up Stick

Marc Jacobs beauty is one of my all-time favorite high-end brand. I have tried his almost all the products except the eyeshadow palettes and the giant bronzer.

As I already tried his foundation and since he released the concealer stick I was dying to get my hands on that. Hence, took the chance when it was 20% off in Sephora.

Let’s dive into what it is and what it claims.

What it is:

A long-wear, creamy concealer and touch-up stick, perfect for on the go, in a range of 17 full-coverage shades.

What it does:

Finally, a stick concealer that’s both creamy and full coverage. Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick covers and blends seamlessly for skin that looks totally natural. Swipe on in the morning to get away with last night’s indiscretions, then keep it in your pocket or purse to touch-up anytime, anywhere. It layers beautifully under or over makeup, blurring the look of pores, fine lines and imperfections while hiding dark circles, blemishes, and uneven skin tone. Formulated with snow mushroom, Accomplice gives you smooth, hydrated-looking skin without tell-tale creasing or caking. Go incognito and hide in plain sight.

What else you need to know:

  • Marc lives life to the fullest and wanted a product that could keep up with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle.

My verdict

Let’s start with the packaging. It’s a small plastic stick, comes with a clickable head, lightweight and slim like a bullet lipstick which makes it easy to carry in a purse.

The shade range is also pretty good, comes in 17 shades from fair to deep. I got the shade medium 36 (I am nc40 in Mac), which is a true match, could be use as a foundation too.

The concealer is very smooth and buttery, easy to apply, blends nicely (I blended with a sponge) and as it claims has full coverage. Most importantly, the coverage is sheer, so if you have dark circle or hyperpigmentation might need a colour corrector. However, for me, it concealed my under eyes so nicely, didn’t crease at all and did not look cakey or heavy. Moreover, longevity is so freaking good that it could be worn more than 12 hours (I have worn for 12 hrs) and will look exactly the same as it was applied without fading or oxidising.

If you are someone who does not like to wear foundation on a day to day basis, only loves concealing or spot corrects then this would be a great choice. Also, if you are in a hurry, don’t have enough time to do the makeup yet want to use something which would give you natural finish then go for it.

Nonetheless, as it is a little pricey and only getting  0.17 oz/ 5 g, you might be hesitant buying, but if you truly love something which would provide coverage with flawless looking skin, then just get it, I promise you won’t regret.
